David Ayalon

David Ayalon (1914, Hayfa – 1998), İsrailli Ortadoğu tarihçisi. Memlûk Sultanlığı konusunda uzmanlaşmış bir tarihçiydi. Pesach Shinar ile birlikte derledikleri Arapça-İbranice sözlük ile İsrail'de yaygınca tanınıyordu.[1] 1972 yılında Müslüman bölgelerdeki ordu ve halk hakkında yaptığı çalışmalar nedeniyle İsrail'in en yüksek sivil ödülü olarak kabul edilen İsrail Ödülü'nü aldı.[1]
