Hücre iskeletine bağlı protein 5, insanlarda CKAP5 geni tarafından kodlanan mikrotübüle bağlı bir proteindir.[4][5][6] Xenopus'un XMAP215 proteininin[7] homologudur ve ch-Tog olarak da bilinir.

Bunun, en az iki farklı rollere sahiptir iğ ipliği oluşumunda en az iki ayrı rolü vardır: MCAK (KIF2C) aracılığıyla depolimerizasyondan kinetokor mikrotübüllerini korur ve MCAK etkinliğinden bağımsız bir işlev olan sentrozomal mikrotübül birleştiriminde cH-Tog önemli bir rol oynar.[8]

CKAP5'in TACC1 ile etkileşime girdiği gösterilmiştir.[9][10]
