L-aminoadipat-semialdehit dehidrojenaz-fosfopanteteinil transferaz, insanlarda AASDHPPT geni tarafından kodlanan bir enzimdir.[4][5][6]
Bu gen tarafından kodlanan protein, lizin biyosentetik yolağında alfa-aminoadipat dehidrojenazın etkinleşmesi için gerekli olan Saccharomyces cerevisiae LYS5'e benzer. Maya alfa-aminoadipat dehidrojenazı; alfa-biyosentetik-aminoadipat semialdehiti, alfa-aminoadipata dönüştürür. İnsan genindeki bozuklukların pipekolik asidemiye neden olduğu ileri sürülmüştür.[6]
