Šumadija ve Batı Sırbistan (Sırpça: Шумадија и западна Србија, Šumadija i zapadna Srbija) Sırbistan'ın 5 istatistiksel bölgesinden biri. 2010'da kurulan bölge 2011 sayımlarına göre 2.031.697 kişilik nüfusa sahiptir.
Kuruluşu
[değiştir | kaynağı değiştir]2009 yılında Sırbistan Millî Meclisi ülkeyi 7 istatistiksel bölgeye ayıran “Eşit Bölgesel Kalkınma Kanunu” çıkarmıştır.[3] Bu kanuna göre bölge Batı Sırbistan (Sırpça: Zapadni region / Западни регион) ve Merkezi Sırbistan (Sırpça: Centralni region / Централни регион) olarak iki ayrı bölge şeklinde kurulmuştur. 7 Nisan 2010 tarihinde Kanun tadil edilmiş, bölge sayısı 5 olarak düzenlenmiş, bölgeler Šumadija ve Batı Sırbistan olarak birleştirilmiştir.[1]
