Kondensadang Bose-Einstein
Ang Kondensadang Bose-Einstein (Ingles: Bose–Einstein condensate o BEC) ay isang estado ng materya ng isang dilutong gaas ng mahinang umuugnay(interacting) na mga boson na nakatakda sa isang panlabas na potensiyal at pinalamig sa mga temperaturang napakalapit sa absolutong sero(0 K or −273.15 °C). Sa ilalim ng gayong mga kondisyon, ang malaking praksiyon ng mga boson ay sumasakop sa pinakamababang estadong quantum ng panlabas na potensiyal na sa puntong ito ang mga epektong quantum ay nagiging maliwanag sa skalang makroskopiko.
Ang estadong ito ng materya ay unang hinulaan nina Satyendra Nath Bose at Albert Einstein noong 1924–25. Si Bose ay unang nagpadala ng papel kay Einstein tungkol sa estadistikang quantum ng liwanag na quanta(na tinatawag ngayong mga photon). Si Einstein ay humanga at isinalin niya mismo ang papel na ito mula sa Ingles sa Aleman at kanyang isinumite para kay Bose sa Zeitschrift für Physik na naglimbag nito. Pinalawig naman ni Einstein ang mga ideya ni Bose sa mga materyal na partikul(o materya sa dalawang pang mga papel.
