Elektron
Ang elektron (Griyego: electron, pinagmulan ng salitang elektrisidad[1]) ay isang partikulong umiikot sa atomo at may negatibong karga.[2] Ito ay nasa isang landas o orbitong patuloy na umiikot dahil sa atraksiyon nito sa mga partikulong may positibong karga o proton na mahahanap sa nukleus o nukleo ng isang atomo. Kapag may pantay na dami ng mga proton at elektron ang isang atomo, tinatawag itong neyutral ang pagka-elektriko.
