Si Anubis Ang pangalang Sinaunang Griyego[2] para sa may ulo ng jackal o Cynocephaly na diyos ng relihiyon ng Sinaunang Ehipto na nauugnay sa mummipikasyon at kabilang buhay. Siya ang anak nina Nephthys at Set ayon sa mitolohiyang Ehipsiyo. Ayon sa transkripsiyong Akkadian sa mga liham na Amarna, ang pangalan ni Anubis ay sinasalita sa wikang Ehipsiyo bilang Anapa.[3] Ang pinakamatandang alam na pagbanggit kay Anubis ay sa mga tekstong pyramid ng Lumang Kaharian ng Ehipto na nauugnay sa paglilibing sa paraon.[4] Sa panahong ito, si Anubis ang pinakamahalagang diyos ng mga namatay ngunit siya ay napalitan sa Gitnang Kaharian ng Ehipto ni Osiris.[5]
