เซาแทมป์ตัน (อังกฤษ: Southampton) เป็นเมืองที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในมณฑลแฮมป์เชียร์ ชายฝั่งตอนใต้ของอังกฤษ[2] อยู่ห่างจากกรุงลอนดอนทางทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ราว 120 กิโลเมตร และห่างจากเมืองพอร์ตสมัททางทิศตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือราว 30 กิโลเมตร มีประชากร 239,700 คน (ค.ศ. 2010) เป็นเมืองท่าสำคัญ เมืองที่ใกล้ที่สุดคือ นิวฟอร์เรสต์ เซาแทมป์ตันอยู่ทางทิศเหนือสุดของอ่าวเซาแทมป์ตันวอเตอร์ มีแม่น้ำเทสต์และแม่น้ำอิตเชน ไหลมาบรรจบกัน[3] มีแม่น้ำแฮมเบิลไหลมารวมทางตอนใต้บริเวณเขตเมือง
ชาวโรมันและแซกซันเข้ามาตั้งถิ่นฐานที่เมืองนี้ ในช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่สองได้รับความเสียหายจากการทิ้งระเบิดของเยอรมัน เนื่องจากเป็นที่ตั้งฐานทัพเรือที่สำคัญของสหรัฐอเมริกา
