ไวรัสเด็งกี (อังกฤษ: dengue virus) เป็นเชื้อสาเหตุของไข้เด็งกี มีสี่ซีโรไทป์ ไวรัสเด็งกีเป็นอาร์เอ็นเอไวรัสสายบวกเดี่ยวในวงศ์ Flaviviridae สกุล Flavivirus[1][2] ซึ่งมียุงเป็นพาหะ ไวรัสทั้งสี่ซีโรไทป์สามารถก่อโรคได้รุนแรงเท่า ๆ กัน[1]
จีโนมของไวรัสมีขนาดประมาณ 11,000 เบส ซึ่งมีรหัสโปรตีนโครงสร้างสามชนิด คือ capsid protein C, membrane protein M, envelope protein E โปรตีนที่มิใช่โครงสร้างเจ็ดชนิด คือ NS1, NS2a, NS2b, NS3, NS4a, NS4b, NS5 และบริเวณที่ไม่ถอดรหัสสั้น ๆ ทั้งปลาย 5' และ 3'[1][3] การจำแนกแต่ละซีโรไทป์เป็นจีโนมไทป์มักสัมพันธ์กับพื้นที่ซึ่งมักพบสายพันธุ์นั้นหรือพื้นที่ซึ่งพบสายพันธุ์นั้นครั้งแรก
