ล้านปี (อังกฤษ: myr, million years) เป็นหน่วยจำนวน 1,000,000 (1×106) ปี หรือ 31.6 เทระวินาที
การใช้งาน
[แก้]ส่วนใหญ่มีการใช้ myr ในวิทยาศาสตร์โลกและจักรวาลวิทยา โดย myr ถูกใช้คล้ายกับ mya หรือ "ล้านปีก่อน (million years ago)"
การใช้ myr เป็นที่ถกเถียงกันในธรณีวิทยา[1] ทว่าเป็นหน่วยมาตราฐานในดาราศาสตร์ "myr" ในธรณีวิทยามักหมายถึง "Myr" (หน่วยของเมกะปี, mega-years) ส่วนในดาราศาสตร์มักหมายถึง "MYR" (million years, ล้านปี)
