ภาพยนตร์ชีวประวัติ (อังกฤษ: Biographical film หรือเรียกอย่างสั้นว่า biopic) เป็นภาพยนตร์ประเภทหนึ่งที่ได้รับความนิยมสูง ที่เล่าเรื่องชีวิตของคน มักมีโครงสร้างที่ค่อนข้างตายตัว คือเล่าตั้งแต่เกิดจนตายโดยเน้นช่วงสำคัญในชีวิตคนแต่ละประเภทแตกต่างกัน หากเป็นศิลปิน อาจเล่าถึงแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน หากเป็นกีฬา หนังอาจถ่ายทอดความกดดันในเกมแข่งขัน หรือหากเป็นนักรบ หนังก็อาจเล่าถึงช่วงเวลาที่ถือเป็นความพ่ายแพ้ที่สุดในชีวิต
