ருபீடியம் – 82 குளோரைடு (Rubidium-82 chloride) என்பது ClRb என்ற மூலக்கூற்று வாய்ப்பாடு கொண்ட ருபீடியத்தின் குளோரைடு வகை கதிரியக்க ஓரிடத்தான் ஆகும். இது கார்டியோகென் என்ற வர்த்தகப் பெயரில் அடையாளப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. இதயத்திசு உட்செலுத்திப் படமாக்கல் (Myocardial perfusion imaging ) கருவியில் ருபீடியம் – 82 குளோரைடு பயன்படுகிறது[1] . சாதரண இதயத் திசுக்கள் ருபீடியம் – 82 குளோரைடை உடனடியாகவும் வேகமாகவும் எடுத்துக் கொள்கின்றன. இதனடிப்படையில், பாசிட்ரான் உமிழ்பு தளகதிர்படயியல் சோதனைமூலம் இரத்தம் குறைவாகப் பெறக்கூடிய இதயத் திசுக்கள் யாவை என அடையாளம் காணப்படுகின்றன[2]. ருபீடியம் – 82 குளோரைடின் அரைவாழ்வுக் காலம் 1.27 நிமிடங்கள் மட்டுமேயாகும். பொதுவாக ருபீடியம் உற்பத்தி இயந்திரங்கள் மூலமே அவ்விடத்தில் ருபீடியம் உற்பத்தி செய்யப்படுகிறது.[3]
