Aralkilamin N-acetiltransferaza (EC 2.3.1.87, serotoninska acetiltransferaza, serotoninska acetilaza, arilalkilaminska N-acetiltransferaza, serotoninska N-acetiltransferaza, AANAT, enim melatoninskog ritma) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom acetil-KoA:2-ariletilamin N-acetiltransferaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- acetil-KoA + 2-ariletilamin KoA + N-acetil-2-ariletilamin
Ovaj enzim je specifičan za 2-ariletilamine, uključujući serotonin (5-hidroksitriptamin), triptamin, 5-metoksitriptamin i feniletilamin.
