Великоморавска кнежевина (лат. Regnum Marahensium, грч. Μεγάλη Μοραβία [Megálī Moravía]), Великоморавско царство,[1] Велика Моравска или само Моравска,[2][3][4] је западнословенска кнежевина која је настала 833. године уједињењем:[5]

Ова кнежевина је предпоставља се, заузимала просторе источне Чешке и делове Словачке уз реку Мораву одакле потиче и име кнежевине. Ова прва западнословенска држава настала је уједињењем словенских племена која су живела северно од Дунава.

Теорија о локацији

Према теорији Петера Пишпеки Нађа, централно подручје Велике Моравске налазило се на територији данашње Србије, а сама Велика Моравска настала је уједињењем словенских племена — Бодрића и Словена настањених уз Мораву и Тимок, који су се у 9. веку отцепили од Бугарске и ставили се под заштиту Франачког царства.[6]
