Shtypi litografik apo litografia është metoda më e vjetër e shtypit të rrafshët, prandaj mund ta quajmë edhe metodë klasike të shtypit. Në fillim forma e shtypit është punuar në pllaka të gurit (shtypi me gurë), kurse në kohën e re e ka zavëndësuar pllaka e zingut dhe e aluminit. Te shtypi litografik shtypi bëhet në mënyrë direkte.
