Flarf

Flarf je avantgardné básnické hnutie zo začiatku 21. storočia. Termín „Flarf“ bol vytvorený básnikom Gary Sullivanom, ktorý napísal a vydal prvé flarfové básne. Flarf vzniká na internete, kde spolupracuje skupina básnikov na tom istom e-mailovom serveri, posielajú si správy a rôzne texty, aj reťazové e-maily, z ktorých potom vyberie príjemca výrazy pre báseň. Jednu z hlavných metód vynašiel Drew Gardner, keď mu napadlo filtrovať staré e-mailové posty, z čoho vznikli smiešne a niekedy rušivé básne, hry a iné texty. Túto metódu tvorby poézie používali na konci 20. storočia Michal Habaj, Peter Macsovszky a Peter Šulej v projekte Generator X. Pionieri hnutia sú Jordan Davis, Katie Degentesh, Drew Gardner, Nada Gordon, Mitch Highfill, Rodney Koeneke, Michael Magee, Sharon Mesmer, Mel Nichols, Michael Paradis, K. Silem Mohammad, Rod Smith, Gary Sullivan a ďalší.
