Doktor John Watson alebo Dr. John H. Watson je fiktívna postava vymyslená Arthurom Conanom Doyleom. Je to najlepší priateľ a zároveň životopisec slávneho detektíva Sherlocka Holmesa. Watson je rozprávačom takmer všetkých Holmesových príbehov. Dva totiž rozpráva sám Holmes a dva sú rozprávané v 3. osobe. Watson a Holmes podľa Doyleovych poviedok bývali v rokoch 1881 - 1904 vo viktoriánskom dome na Baker Street.

Postava Doktora Watsona bola viackrát sfilmovaná a stvárnili ju napríklad: Martin Freeman, Jude Law, Edward Hardwicke, David Burke, André Morell, Nigel Bruce, Kenneth Welsh, Vitalij Solomin a Earle Cross.
