Kemerovo Oblast
Kemerovo Oblast–Kuzbass (Russian: Ке́меровская о́бласть — Кузба́сс, romanized: Kemerovskaya oblast — Kuzbass, pronounced [ˈkʲemʲɪrəfskəjə ˈobləsʲtʲ kuzˈbɑs]), also known by its short names as Kemerovo Oblast (Russian: Ке́меровская о́бласть) and Kuzbass (Кузба́сс)[1] after the Kuznetsk Basin, is a federal subject of Russia. It is located in southwestern Siberia. Kemerovo is the administrative center of the oblast, though Novokuznetsk is the largest city in the oblast.
