Object history
Deutsch: Die Lilien und die Farben Blau und Gold weisen auf die Fugger hin, die 1592 mit der Herrschaft Wasserburg auch Bodolz erwarben. Ein Jahr später erhielten sie vom Lindauer Damenstift den gesamten Besitz in Bodolz zusammen mit den Herrschaftsrechten. Der Äbtissinnenstab im Wappen erinnert an die ehemalige Herrschaft des Damenstifts. Der Apfelbaumzweig symbolisiert den Obstanbau im Gemeindegebiet.
