The 2020 Queensland state election was held on 31 October 2020 to elect all 93 members of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. It was conducted by the Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ).

The incumbent Labor government, led by Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, won a third term in government, opposed by the Liberal National Party (LNP), led by Deb Frecklington.

  1. 1.0 1.1 At the previous election, Jason Costigan won the Electoral district of Whitsunday under the Liberal National Party, however was expelled from the party in February 2019.[1] After sitting as an Independent MP for over eight-months, Costigan established, and lead, his own party to the election.
