මධ්‍යම ප්‍රතිපදාවෙහි “මධ්‍යම ” යන වචනයෙන් අදහස් කරන්නේ “මැද ඇති” යන්න නොව “ප්‍රධාන” යන්නයි. Please do not give wrong information. According to the link you have given the Chinease letter/ word has several meanings even is English.

1. central
2. middle
3. in the midst of, during (a period of time)
4. hit (target)
5. attain

To describe මජ්ඣිම පටිපදා; 3rd is the most wrong meaning. 2rd is next inappropriate. Other 3 meanings are more or less relevant.

This is one of most complex concepts in Buddhism. Translating it word to word from a western language article is one of the most destroying thing person can do to destroy the pure meaning.
