පබ්මෙඩ් සෙන්ට්‍රල් (ඉංග්‍රීසි: PubMed Central, PMC) යනු biomedical සහ life sciences ජ'නල් වල ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කරන ලද, නිදහස් ලෙස ප්‍රවේශ විය හැකි full-text scholarly articles ගබඩාකොට ඇති ලේඛනාගාරයක් වේ. National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) මගින් සංවර්ධනය කරන ලද ප්‍රධාන research database එකක් වන මෙය හුදු ලේඛන ගබඩාවක් පමණක් ම නොවේ. PMC වෙත කරන ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම් අනන්‍ය හැඳුනුම් භාවිතයෙන් සුචිගත කරනු ලබයි.[1] PMC හි අන්තර්ගත වෙනත් NCBI ඩේටාබේස් සමඟ සම්බන්ධ කළ හැකි අතර Entrez search and retrieval systems හරහා පරිශීලනය කළ හැකි නිසා යමෙකුට මෙහිවන biomedical knowledge සොයාගැනීම සඳහා වන අවස්ථාව ඉතා ඉහල වේ.[2]

PMCID
[සංස්කරණය]The PMCID (PubMed Central identifier), also known as the PMC reference number, is a bibliographic identifier for the PubMed Central database, much like the PMID is the bibliographic identifier for the PubMed database. The two identifiers are distinct however. It consists of "PMC" followed by a string of seven numbers. The format is:[8]
