The Mountain Eagle (sh. Planinski orao) je britansko-njemački crno-bijeli nijemi film snimljen 1927. u režiji Alfreda Hitchcocka, poznat kao jedino cjelovečernje ostvarenje Hitchcockove filmografije koje se smatra izgubljenim.

Film je po žanru melodrama, a radnja je smještena u planine američke države Kentucky. Protagonist, koga tumači njemački glumac Bernard Goetzke je gorštak traumatiziran smrću supruge, a potom razbješnjen time da ga je lijepa učiteljica (čiji lik tumači Nita Naldi) odbacila radi vlastitog obogaljenog sina (čiji lik tumači John F. Hamilton). Film se snimao na lokacijama u selu Obergugl u austrijskom Tirolu, pri čemu je Hitchcockova ekipa trpjela stalna kašnjenja i druge probleme vezane uz nepredvidljive vremenske prilike. Iako je bio drugi po redu film u Hitchcockovoj filmografiji, u kina je poslan tek nekoliko mjeseci nakon kasnije snimljenog filma The Lodger, koji je postao iznenađujući hit.

S izuzetkom nekoliko fotografija, danas nije sačuvan nijedna snimka The Mountain Eaglea. Sam Hitchcock je francuskom sineastu Françoisu Truffautu u njegovoj knjizi Hitchcock/Truffaut izjavio da zbog toga nimalo ne žali, jer je The Mountain Eagle bio "banalna melodrama".
