Istorija predmeta
Deutsch: Das Gemeindewappen verbindet die Wappen zweier Adelsgeschlechter, die für Rohrenfels (bis um 1300 Rohrbach) von historischer Bedeutung waren. Die Teilung mit dem unten gespaltenen Feld entspricht dem Wappen der Herren von Parsberg, in deren Besitz sich Rohrenfels von 1436 bis 1505 befand. Der Dachs ist aus dem Wappen der Familie von Taxis (Thurn und Taxis) übernommen. Oktavian von Taxis erwarb 1618 die Hofmark Rohrenfels; sie blieb (zuletzt als Patrimonialgericht) bis zum Verkauf an den Staat im Jahr 1831 im Besitz der Familie Taxis. Der Wellenschildfuß, ein heraldisches Gewässersymbol, versinnbildlicht die Lage der Gemeinde am ursprünglich namengebenden Rohrbach und am Rand des Donaumooses. Er weist auf die früher wirtschaftlich bedeutenden Fischweiher des Benediktinerinnenklosters Neuburg in der Nonnenlohe nordöstlich von Doferhof hin. Der Dachs steht auch für das im Donaumoos gelegene so genannte Dachsholz im Osten der Gemeindeflur. Die Farbkombinationen Silber-Blau und Schwarz-Gold im unteren Bereich des Wappens beziehen sich auf die frühe herzoglich-bayerische, ab 1505 pfalz-neuburgische Landesherrschaft.
