Shimen Destrict (Cheenese: 石門區; pinyin: Shímén Qū) is a spairsely populatit landwart destrict in the northren pairt o New Taipei in northren Republic o Cheenae (Taiwan). It is pairt o the north coast scenic aurie an includes Taiwan's northmaist point, Cape Fugui.

In 1945 when the Kuomintang teuk ower admeenistration o Taiwan the aurie became Shimen Landwart Tounship, a pairt o Taipei Coonty. Wi the reorganisation o Taipei Coonty in 2010, Shimen became a destrict o the newly creatit New Taipei.

[eedit | eedit soorce]Shimen is pairt o New Taipei, a special municipality unner the Republic o Cheenae govrenment. The destrict itsel is dividit intae nine veelages: Shanxi (山溪里), Shimen (石門里), Laomei (老梅里), Jianlu (尖鹿里), Maolin (茂林里), Caoli (草里里), Qianhua (乾華里), Fuji (富基里), and Demao (德茂里).[1]
