Regions o Nepal
Nepal is dividit intae 14 admeenistrative zones (अञ्चल), which are dividit intae 75 destricts (जिल्ला). The 14 admeenistrative zones are groupit intae five development regions (विकास क्षेत्र). Each destrict is heidit bi a Chief Destrict Officer (CDO) responsible for maintainin law an order an coordinatin the wirk o field agencies o the various govrenment meenistries.
The five development regions o Nepal are:
- Eastren Development Region (पुर्वाञ्चल विकास क्षेत्र)
- Central Development Region (मध्यमाञ्चल विकास क्षेत्र)
- Wastren Development Region (पश्चिमाञ्चल विकास क्षेत्र)
- Mid-Wastren Development Region (मध्य पश्चिमाञ्चल विकास क्षेत्र)
- Far-Wastren Development Region (सुदुर पश्चिमाञ्चल विकास क्षेत्र)
