Tritonal — американская транс-группа, образованная в 2007 году диджеями и продюсерами Чедом Сиснеросом и Дэвидом Ридом[1]. Стали известны благодаря множеству синглов с исполнительницей Кристиной Сото, а также по собственному радио-шоу Air Up There. Являются создателями лейбла Air Up There Recordings. В 2011 году выпустили дебютный студийный альбом Piercing the Quiet.
История
[править | править код]Группа зародилась в 2007 году в Остине (Техас), когда два безвестных диджея — Чед Сиснерос и Дэйв Рид — решили объединить свои усилия и покорить танцевальную арену. Несмотря на весьма насыщенную диджеями и исполнителями транс-арену, группа быстро набрала популярность и в 2010 году попала в список 100 лучших диджеев мира по версии журнала DJ Magazine, улучшив свой результат сразу на 58 позиций в сравнении с 2009 годом. В 2011 году группа сохранила свою позицию (#83)[2].
Весной 2008 года группа запустила собственное радио-шоу Air Up There[3]. Изначально шоу было ежемесячным, первые выпуски имели продолжительность около полутора часов, позже она была увеличена до двух часов. С середины 2011 года передача стала выходить два раза в месяц, однако общая продолжительность осталась прежней (два выпуска по одному часу)[4]. После выпуска дебютного альбома «Piercing the Quiet» дуэт устроил мировой тур с его презентацией и некоторые выпуски шоу являлись трансляцией с живых выступлений группы[5]. В 2010-м году группа создала собственный музыкальный лейбл Air Up There Recordings[6].
Дважды вели радио-шоу Anjunabeats Worldwide: в 2008 и 2012 годах[7][8].
В 2010 году создали ремикс к саундтреку игры Halo 3[9].
