Mecopodinae (лат.) — подсемейство кузнечиков.
Распространение
[править | править код]Встречаются в Южной Америке, Афротропике, Австралии и Юго-Восточной Азии[2][3].
Описание
[править | править код]Форма переднеспикни простая (без задних выступов, как у близкого подсемейства Phyllophorinae). Голова опистогнатическая. Стридуляционный аппарат развит. Яйцеклад незазубренный[2]. Простернум вооружён парой шипиков[4].
