Azcapotzalco es una delegasion del Estado de Sivdad de Meksiko. Tiene una povlasion de 186 391 avitantes.

Azcapotzalco, en lingua orijinaria signifika Lugar ande ay ormigeros, el orijen del biervo en lingua nahuatl es azcapotzalli (ormigero) i -co (lugar); Azcapotzalco deriva de una aglutinasion de palavras.

Azcapotzalco es un belediye ke topa al norte de la Sivdad de Meksiko, konta kon una superfisie de km² de territorio. La kavesera delegasionala es Villa Azcapotzalco i se topa al norte kon el Estado de Meksiko, al sud kon Miguel Hidalgo, al este kon Gustavo A. Madero i Cuauhtémoc; i al oeste ay frontiera kon el Estado de Meksiko. [1]
