Gotham é uma vila em Nottinghamshire, Inglaterra, com uma população estimada em menos de dois mil habitantes, segundo senso de 2011.[1] Fica na região de Rushcliffe e tem um conselho paroquial.
O nome Gotham vem do inglês antigo para "lar da cabra (Goat home)". [2]
Gotham é encontrada na literatura inglesa e canção tradicional Wise Men of Gotham[3], situadas no tempo do Rei João (anterior a 1216).
