Crípse
Em ecologia e em etologia, crípse é a designação dada às adaptações morfológicas, de coloração e comportamentais destinadas a aumentar as possibilidades de um organismo evitar deteção. Este tipo de adaptação pode ser uma estratégia de predação ou uma adaptação antipredador, e os métodos utilizados incluem camuflagem, noturnalidade, recurso à vida subterrânea, transparência e mimetismo.[1] O termo pode também ser utilizado no contexto da nidificação e dos ovos[2] e da produção de feromonas.[3] Em princípio, a crípse pode envolver camuflagem visual, olfatória ou auditiva.[4]
