Minnie Julia Riperton[1] (ur. 8 listopada 1947 w Chicago, zm. 12 lipca 1979 w Los Angeles[1]) – amerykańska piosenkarka soulowa pochodząca z Chicago w stanie Illinois.
Największy sukces odniosła dzięki singlowi "Lovin' You" nagranemu w 1974 roku[2]. Miała pięciooktawową skalę[3], co umożliwiało jej naśladowanie instrumentów oraz bardzo wysokich dźwięków, takich jak głos ptaków. Podczas koncertów jej głos osiągał najwyższe tony rejestru gwizdkowego[4].
Minnie nagrywała m.in. ze Steviem Wonderem, Fontellą Bass, Ettą James i Michaelem Jacksonem. Jej mężem był kompozytor, Richard Rudolph, dzięki któremu rozpoczęła karierę solową. Miała z nim dwójkę dzieci: syna Marca i córkę Mayę.
W jej albumie Perfect Angel znalazł się słynny singel "Lovin' You" zadedykowany dwuletniej wówczas Mayi.
Zmarła w wieku 31 lat z powodu raka piersi. Wcześniej została poddana mastektomii.
