Grupa macierzysta – w systematyce kladystycznej grupa organizmów blisko ze sobą spokrewnionych, tworzących jedną linię ewolucyjną. Grupy macierzyste wymierają, rozszczepiając się w procesie kladogenezy na dwie grupy siostrzane.
