Dorothy Kathleen May Livesay (ur. 12 października 1909 w Winnipeg[1], zm. 29 grudnia 1996 w Victorii) – kanadyjska poetka.
Życiorys
[edytuj | edytuj kod]Jej rodzicami byli J.F.B. Livesay i Florence Randal Livesay[2][3]. Ukończyła studia na Uniwersytecie w Toronto[2]. Potem studiowała na Sorbonie[2][1]. W 1937 wyszła za mąż za Duncana Camerona Macnaira. Miała z nim dwoje dzieci, Petera (ur. 1940) i Marcię (ur. 1942)[3]. Pisała dużo[2]. Otrzymała Governor General's Award w 1944 i 1947[2]. W 1987 została Oficerem Orderu Kanady[1].
