ਮੈਸੂਰ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਮੈਸੂਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਬਾ ਵਿਲਾਸ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਮੈਸੂਰ ਰਾਜ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਆਖ਼ਰੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਇਹ 1897 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ 1912 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸ ਮਗਰੋਂ 1940 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਮਹਿਲ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਅੱਜਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਇਹ ਵਡਿਆਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੈਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ਜ ਹਨ।
ਬਣਤਰ
[ਸੋਧੋ]ਮੈਸੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਮਹਿਲ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੈਸੂਰ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ। ਮਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਹਾਲ ਹਨ। ਇੱਥੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੈਠਕਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਮਹਿਲ ਖਿੱਚ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 27 ਲੱਖ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

[ਸੋਧੋ]The palace complex includes twelve Hindu temples. The oldest was built in the 14th century, while the most recent was built in 1953.

- Shwetha Varahaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Varahaswamy, one of the 10 incarnations of lord Vishnu

- Kodi Someshwaraswami Temple
