ਜੈਂਡਰ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ
ਜੈਂਡਰ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਜੈਂਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਿਆਰੀ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ
[ਸੋਧੋ]ਦੋ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸੈਕਸ ਸਿੰਬਲ ਮਰਦ ♂ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤ ♀ ਜੋਤਸ਼ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਤੋਂ ਲਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ ਕਲਾਸੀਕਲ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਨਸ ਦੇ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਮੁੜ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।[1] ਇਹ ਕਲਾਸੀਕਲ ਰਸਾਇਣ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਾਤ ਲੋਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੇ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੀ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਇਹ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਕਾਰਲ ਲੀਨੀਅਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ 1751 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।[2] ਇਹ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਲਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਟੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਮਰੀਜ਼।[3]
