ଟଗର ଏକ ଧଳା ଫୁଲ ଅଟେ । ଏହାର ବୈଜ୍ଞାନିକ ନାମ ହେଉଛି tabernaemontana divaricata । ଇଂରାଜୀରେ ଏହାକୁ ପିନହୁଇଲ ଫୁଲ ଓ କ୍ରେପ ଜସ୍ମିନ ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଏ । ଏହା ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଦକ୍ଷିଣପୂର୍ବ ଏସିଆ ମହାଦେଶରେ ଦେଖଯାଏ ଯେଉଁଠି ଜଳବାୟୁ ଉଷ୍ମ ଥାଏ । ଏହି ଗଛର କାଣ୍ଡରୁ ଧଳା କ୍ଷୀର ଭଳି ତରଳ ପଦାର୍ଥ ବାହାରିଥାଏ,ତେଣୁ ଏହାକୁ ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗରେ କ୍ଷୀର ଫୁଲ ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଏ ।

[ସମ୍ପାଦନା]ସାଧାରଣତଃ ଏହି ଗଛ ୫ରୁ ୬ ଫୁଟ ବଢିଥାଏ । ଏହାର ପତ୍ର ସବୁଜ ଅଟେ ଓ ପ୍ରାୟ ୬ ଇଞ୍ଚ ହୋଇଥାଏ । ଫୁଲରେ ୫ଟି ପାଖୁଡା ଥାଏ । ଏହି ଫୁଲ ବର୍ଷକ ବାର ମାସ ଫୁଟି ଥାଏ ।[୨]

ଔଷୋଧୀୟ ଗୁଣ
[ସମ୍ପାଦନା]- ଏହାର ଚେର ପିତା ଲାଗେ ଯାହା ଆୟୁର୍ବେଦିକ ଓଷଧ ତିଆରି ହବାରେ ସାହାଜ୍ୟ କରେ ।
- କାଛୁ କୁଣ୍ଡିଆ ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ଓଷଧରେ ଏହାର ଚେର ଉପାଦେୟ ଅଟେ ।
- ନୂଆ କାଣ୍ଡଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଦାନ୍ତ ପାଇଁ ବହୁତ ଭଲ ଅଟେ ।[୩]
- ମଳୟ ପେନିନସୁଲାରେ ଏହାର ପତ୍ର କାଶ ଓଷଧରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।
- ଅମ୍ବନ ଦ୍ୱିପରେ ଏହାର ଚେର ଦେହରେ ଚରି ଯାଇଥିବା ବିଷ ଓ ବୃକକ ଷ୍ଟୋନ ଦୂରୀକରଣ ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।
