La mar de China Meridionala (en chinés: Nan Hai 南海 / 南洋, («mar del Sud») es una mar que fa partida de l'Ocean Pacific e que s'espandís sus una superfícia d'aperaquí 3 500 000 km² entre Singapor e l'estrech de Taiwan, çò que ne'n fa la mai granda mar après los cinc oceans. I existís de centenas d'illetas amassadas en archipèlas.

La mar de China Meridionala e aquelas illetas son l'objècte de revendicacions de sobeiranetat per los Estats vesins. Aquò se tradutz per una diversitat de noms utilizats per nomenar las illas e la mar.
