Isotes er en artsrik slekt av biller som tilhører familiegruppen bladbiller (Chrysomelidae). Det er kjent ca. 180 arter.[1]

Utseende

Middelsstore, litt brede, blanke bladbiller, gjerne mønstret i brunrødt og svart, dekkvingene noen ganger med metallglans. Antennene er tynne og noe kortere enn kroppen, pronotum rundet, betydelig bredere enn langt. Dekkvingene er ofte litt utvidet bakover.

Levevis

Både larvene og de voksne (imago) er planteetere. Til tross for at denne slekten er såpass artsrik er biologien ukjent.

Utbredelse

Slekten er utbredt i den neotropiske økosonen.
