Samaratid

Samaratid (russisk: самарское время – Samarskoje vremja) eller SAMT, oppkalt etter byen Samara, er en tidssone i Russland. Den ligger fire timer foran UTC (UTC+4) og én time foran moskvatid (MSK+1)[1]. Grunnet bruken av dekrettid i Russland ligger tiden én time foran standardtiden for den aktuelle tidssonen.

Tidligere ble Samaratid brukt på vinteren og Samara sommertid (SAMST) med UTC+5 og MSK+1, brukt om sommeren. Fra 28. mars 2010 ble Moskva sommertid brukt og Samaratid fjernet. 26. oktober 2014 gikk Russland over til permanent vintertid og samaratiden ble igjen tatt i bruk, denne gangen lik året rundt.[2][3][4]
