STS-127 var en romferd med den amerikanske romfergen «Endeavour» (OV-105). Ferden gikk til den internasjonale romstasjonen (ISS), og oppskytingen skjedde fra rampe 39A ved John F. Kennedy Space Center i Florida.[1] Dette var den 23. romferge-ferden til Endeavour, og ombord var det sju astronauter. Hovedmålet med romferden var installere de to siste modulene i Japanese Experiment Module.[3][4] Når Endeavour dokket med ISS i juli 2009 satte den rekorden for flest mennesker i samme farkost i rommet samtidig, da 13 personer var på ISS samtidig.[5]
