Nebiim

Neviím (hebraisk: נביאים, Nevi'im),[1] eller Profetene, utgjør den andre av tre hoveddeler av Tanákh, eller den hebraiske Bibelen. Denne delen er igjen delt inn i to deler; Neviim risjonim (de tidligere profetene – Josva, Dommernes bok, Samuelsbøkene og Kongebøkene) og Neviim aharonim (de senere profetene – Jesaja, Jeremia og Esekiel og de tolv mindre profetene).

I den jødiske liturgi leses utdrag av tekstene offentlig i synagogen etter torahlesningene hver sabbat og på jødiske festdager.
