Knowsley på Commons

Knowsley er et administrativt distrikt med status som metropolitan borough i Merseyside i England. Administrasjonssenteret er Huyton. Det har navn etter landsbyen Knowsley.

Distriktet ble opprettet 1. april 1974 ved sammenslåing av Huyton-with-Roby, Kirkby, Prescot, det meste av Whiston landdistrikt og en liten del av West Lancashire landdistrikt. Hele området tilhørte før lokalstyrereformen Lancashire.
