Rådhuset i Kazimierz

Kazimierz (jiddisch Kuzmir) er et historisk distrikt i Kraków. Det var opprinnelig (fra det 14. til det 19. århundre) en selvstendig by sør for, men i umiddelbar nærhet til Kraków. I flere århundrer var Kazimierz møtestedet for den jødiske og kristne kultur. Under andre verdenskrig ble dens jødiske befolkning imidlertid tvangsflyttet av tyske nazister til gettoen i bydelen Podgórze i 1941. I dag er Kazimierz blitt renovert og er et populært sted blant krakowianere og turister.

Den største synagogen i Kazimierz er Izaak Jakubowicz synagogen.

Spielbergs Schindlers liste ble for det meste filmet i Kazimierz.
