Johann Nepomuk Strassmaier S.J. (eller Strassmayer, født 15. mai 1846 i Hagenberg i Bayern, død 11. januar 1920 i London) var en tysk romersk-katolsk prest og assyriolog.

Strassmaier trådte inn i jesuittordenen i 1865 og var bosatt i England fra 1872.

Han skrev blant annet

  • med Joseph Epping: Astronomisches aus Babylon, oder das Wissen der Chaldäer über den gestirnten Himmel, Freiburg, Herder 1889 Online,
  • Alphabetisches Verzeichniss der assyrischen und akkadischen Wörter (1882-86),
  • Babylonische Texte (1886-97; over 3000 innskrifter). Denne beskjeftiget seg særlig med funn som stammet fra utgravningene i Sippar.
