Ansbach er en by i Mittelfranken i den tyske delstaten Bayern, og ligger rundt 40 km sørvest for Nürnberg. Byen er forvaltningssentrum for Regierungsbezirk Mittelfranken.

Byens historie skriver seg tilbake til et Benediktinerkloster som ble grunnlagt i 748, men etter kildene ble Ansbach første gang omtalt som by i år 1221. Ansbach var senere residensby for Fyrstedømmet Ansbach, fram til perioden 1806–1810, da fyrstedømmet ble slått sammen med Kongedømmet Bayern.

Byen har et areal på 99,92 km², og har 40 296 innbyggere (2011).
