Andrew Hampsten på Commons

Andrew (Andy) Hampsten (født 7. april 1962 i Columbus, Ohio) er en amerikansk tidligere profesjonell landeveissyklist.

Hampsten fikk først oppmerksomhet i 1985 da han vant 20. etappe i Giro d'Italia. Året etter vant han Sveits rundt og hjalp Greg LeMond til å vinne Tour de France. Selv kom han på fjerdeplass og vant ungdomskonkurransen. I 1987 gjentok han seieren i Sveits rundt. Karrierens høydepunkt kom i 1988 da han vant Giro d'Italia sammenlagt som første ikke-europeer. I 1992 kom nok et høydepunkt da han under Tour de France i 1992 stakk fra sine bruddkamerater og vant etappen til L'Alpe d'Huez. Han endte på fjerdeplass sammenlagt.
