1. division er den nest beste ligaen i Danmarksmesterskapet. Den har også gått under navnet Faxe Kondi Divisionen (1997/98-2000/01), Viasat Sport Divisionen (2004/05-2006/07) og Viasat Divisionen (2007/08-2008/09).

Divisjonen består av tolv lag, hvor alle møter hverandre tre ganger. Etter 33 kamper rykker de to beste opp til Superligaen, mens de to dårligst plasserte lagene rykker ned til 2. divisjon.
