The Lion King (norsk tittel: Løvenes konge) er ein amerikansk teiknefilm frå 1994, produsert av Walt Disney Feature Animation og utgjeven av Walt Disney Pictures. Filmen er den 32. animerte langfilmen til Disney.
Filmen handlar om ein løveunge i Afrika kalla Simba, som finn ut om plassen sin i «livets sirkel», mens han kjempar seg gjennom ulike hindringar for å bli den rettkomne kongen.
The Lion King er ein musikalsk film, med songar av komponisten Elton John og songtekstforfattaren Tim Rice, og filmmusikk av Hans Zimmer.
Disney produserte seinare to relaterte filmar som vart utgjevne rett på video: Ein oppfølgjar, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride og ein forløpar-parallell, The Lion King 1½.
