Reisen mot Vest (kinesisk skrift 西游记; pinyin Xīyóujì; Wade-Giles Hsiyu-chi) er ein av dei fire klassiske romanane i kinesisk litteratur. Han kom fyrst ut anonymt i 1590-åra under Ming-dynastiet. Sjølv om det ikkje finst direkte bevis på kven som skreiv forteljinga, er forfattarskapen tradisjonelt blitt tilagt Wu Cheng'en.

Romanen er ei fiktiv og mytologisk forteljing om den buddhistiske munken Xuanzang si pilegrimsferd til India under Tang-dynastiet for å henta sutraene. Bodhisattvaen Guan Yin gjev, etter ønske frå Buddha Amitabha, denne oppgåva til munken og dei tre disiplane og vernarane hans: apen (Sūn Wùkōng), grisen (Zhū Bājiè) og sandmonsteret Shā Wùjìng.

I Sverige er heile verket gjeve ut i fem bind 1995-1996 i ei omsetjing av Göran Malmqvist.
